Recruitment for Child Care Institutions(CCIs) and or Children’s Home :

SISHU SEVA ASHRAM invites applications from eligible candidates for various contractual positions in the registered Children’s Home. The positions are under the norms of Mission Vatsalya, W & CD Department, Govt. of Odisha.

Positions Available:

  1. Counselor
  • Qualification: Graduate in Social Work/Sociology/Psychology/Public Health/Counseling or PG Diploma in Counseling and Communication.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in Govt/NGO, preferably in Women and Child Development. Proficiency in Computers.
  • Age: 21 to 45 years.
  • Vacancy: 1 (Male/Female)
  • Remuneration: Rs.23,170/-
  1. Probation Officer/Child Welfare Officer/Case Worker
  • Qualification: Graduate, preferably in BA in Social Work/Sociology/Social Sciences or LLB.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Govt/NGO/Legal Matters, preferably in Women and Child Rights. Proficiency in Computers.
  • Age: 21 to 45 years.
  • Vacancy: 1 (Male/Female)
  • Remuneration: Rs.23,170/-
  1. Storekeeper cum Accountant
  • Qualification: PG preferably in Commerce/MBA (Finance) with computer proficiency.

Selection Process:

  • Selection based on Resolution No. 10102/WCD-CW-MISC-0023/2020 DT-15-09-2020 by W & CD Department, Govt. of Odisha.
  • Merit list based on qualifications and work experience.

Documents Required:

  • Self-attested photocopies of educational certificates.
  • Recent color photographs (3.5 x 4.5 size).
  • Experience certificate from the previous employer.
  • Self-declaration of non-involvement in criminal activities, especially child-related offenses.
  • Police verification (character certificate).

Merit Calculation:

  • Weightage is given to Secondary, Higher Secondary, Graduation, Post-Graduation, other professional courses, and work experience.

Note: Salary mentioned is as per Govt. Scheme Under Mission Vatsalya, W & CD department, Govt. of Odisha. Negotiable pay until GIA is received from the Govt.
